Season’s Greetings from the Gershon Bachus Vintners staff
We wanted to take this time to thank each and every one of our members for their support and loyalty over the past year(s). We have had an opportunity to develop and craft many fabulous new varietals, and releases of our tried and true estate favorites. It is because of our clique loyalty that we have been able to ramp up additional production, and initiate new capital improvements at the winery.
This year we added more tank space, added new machines that allowed us to produce wine beginning at whole berry fermentation. For those of you who are not aware of the difference between crushing then fermentation, verses de-stemming and pushing whole berries into the tanks, you will realize softer tannins. For those who like a little more earth in their wine, we finally were able to split our 17 ERATO Cabernet Franc into two wines; each will be barreled a little differently to change the texture.
And since we mentioned barrels, our new barrel room will soon be underway. Our pond (for fire water) and waterfall are complete and we are adding new landscaping features to make sure everything blends in. If you know of anyone looking for a wedding venue, say no more. This is the prettiest location with the best views and atmosphere.
We plan only to be closed Saturdays no more than 15 weekends for weddings this year. WE will post those days on the website, Facebook, and Google. WE will also send notifications once per month notifying you of the closure. But do not get rattled. Once the barrel room is in place, you can pick up your wines there until about 3pm. (maybe later if we figure that out)
FOR OUR OUT OF TOWN CLIQUERS
Please know that we will ALWAYS ship to you FREE OF CHARGE (in exchange of your complimentary tasting valued at $30.00) if you cannot come in for your tastings during your scheduled pick-up month. YOU STILL CHOOSE YOUR WINE and each time you receive a notice that it is time for pickup (or shipment), we will send you the tasting notes and order form for YOU to select your wines.
Lastly, but most importantly, we wanted to let you know of the new releases FOR WINE CLIQUE ONLY.

2013 ESTATE ERATO CABERNET FRANC
2013 ESTATE ANTEROS CABERNET FRANC/ZINFANDEL BLEND
We will NOT be pouring these in the tasting room (as a rule, sometimes an exception) as we have limited production. WE anticipate these wines to sell out within 4 weeks, therefore, we are allocating a MAX of 6 bottles per membership, unless you are a 36 bottle per year member (and above).
WE now have a waiting list for these wines, and with that said, it does not make sense to pour them in the tasting room.
Please know that everyone has access to their account information on line. Simply go to shop.gershonbachus.com and log in with your email address and password. If you have never done it before you may need to call us for a new password. Once you are set, you can order online if you wish, but we are always happy to speak to you and take your order.
We love referrals. For every person you bring to us that signs up for the CLIQUE, you will receive a bottle of wine for your efforts. EASY RIGHT?
REMEMBER we are open M-THURSDAY 12N to 6pm, FR-SUN 11AM-6pm. Memorial Day through Labor Day, Thursday until 7pm.
